Budget Global Sum
Use the 20 Budget Global Sum (Global Sum) driver to budget accounts that are calculated as a percentage of other revenue or statistical accounts. This driver uses totals from the Stat_Rev tab as the calculation base and applies the calculated results to the appropriate Stat_Rev or Expense tab, depending on the account.
The Global Sum driver is commonly used for items such as allowances, bad debt, or other adjustments that should scale with revenue or volume rather than be entered as fixed amounts. When the underlying Stat_Rev values change, the calculated results update automatically.
You can use this driver to calculate a budgeted value for a department and account by applying a percentage to selected Stat_Rev accounts.
You can add additional rows by copying the formulas from the ones already set up.
IMPORTANT: Do not change the codes in Row1 or delete any columns without consulting without consulting an Administrator first.
Configure settings
Before opening the driver, configure the required accounts in the ACCT dimension.

Double-click ACCT and complete the Open Table in Spreadsheet form.
-
Find the account in the Account Number column.
-

Tips:
When refresh variables require a standard line, you must select at least one. If none are selected, the OK button is disabled.
